Hello lovelies <3

Good evening dolls,

I thought to start with why I decided to make this blog.  I decided to start blogging because I want to share with others my passions, thoughts, and basically anything and everything I come across and find interesting.  This blog will be a little insight into my daily life as well.  I am a shy person in reality so its easier for me to write down my thoughts or express my feelings this way.

I hope you’ll also find my musings interesting. Feel free to ask or message me whatever and whenever you feel like! I love talking to people and I enjoy giving advice and learning from the perspective of others.

Life’s a book. We all have the same beginning and ending, but it’s the chapters we write in between that make it OUR story.

KissMe Lipstick Club Review

Hello my lovelies,

You might not know but I am a huge makeup junkie and I love to wear lipstick.  My best friend recommended me to join a lipstick club. KissMe Lipstick Club is a monthly liquid lipstick subscription from LiveGlam.

Being a liquid lipstick lover I decided why not! It’s three lipsticks a month for $20.00 which isn’t bad at all seeing as most high brand liquid lipsticks usually go for $20 or more a piece. The good thing about this club is that you can skip a month if you don’t like the colors or you can trade it in for something else which is awesome!

I recently joined in June and so have only had the experience of getting my first three colors plus and extra one for free with a coupon code.  I was very happy with all the colors I received.  I love how long lasting they are. They don’t bleed out but they do transfer.  However the transfer does not remove the lipstick completely and still gives a  nice look.  So far, I am loving the colors and texture.  I look forward to the July shipment.

I’ve added pictures of the packaging and the information my KissMe Lipsticks came with and the link to their website below.

Definitely give these a try! (https://liveglam.com/)

Fried rice with spicy sauce

Hello my lovelies!

I hope you’re all doing well.  Ramadan has officially ended which means everyone is now back to their regular routines.  For me, I spent my Ramadan at my in laws and a few weekends with my parents.  Naturally, I was not doing a lot of cooking.  However, now that I’m back in my own home I also have to get back to cooking.

Yesterday I wanted to make something different instead of the regular Pakistani dishes I usually make.  I ended up deciding to make Chinese fried rice with a spicy sauce.  I made enough to last two days but alhumdulillah hubby loved it so much that it was all gone and one serving was left over for his lunch.

Here’s a full and detailed recipe.  If you have any questions feel free to ask.

For this recipe you can use more or less of the ingredients depending on you like the taste.

Ramadan Mubarak my loves!

My favorite month is finally here.

Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was sent down, as a guide to mankind and a clear guidance and judgement (so that mankind will distinguish from right and wrong). (Quran 2:183).

The Messenger of Allah (SWT) said “when the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained” (Imam Bukhari).

Its an exciting time to spend with your loved ones and strengthen your iman (faith).  I just love the change of atmosphere and all the wonderful events, the passion, focus, and commitment of reading the Quran, praying, and attending Taraweeh prayers.  Of course we should have the same exact attitude year round but having everyone around you so involved and committed makes it all the more exciting.

As you fast and offer prayers to Allah (swt), may you find your peace and happiness. May the divine blessings of Allah (swt) protect and guide you.

Have a blessed and peaceful Ramadan,
